Pros and cons of Basecamp 2 for iPhone app for iPhone and iPad

Basecamp 2 for iPhone app good for

Basecamps simplicity and ease of use is what makes it powerful to me. We use the checklists a lot. Once I was familiar with the UI I began to like this app.
Great help for our team, which is spread across the country, to keep on track and get things done.
Very simple but working project management logic, also implement in this useful app!
Basecamp has provided visibility and fluidity between all members of our team. It keeps every member of the team on the same page allowing everyone to see each others progress, answer questions, share documents, organize tasks and responsibility and most importantly communicate! Emails and text messaging just does not compare to the high quality service that basecamp provides. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I have everything in base camp classic and couldnt do without it! Would like to be able to use some of the features the latest version provides; however, the new version does not allow you to use the same interface that our clients are used to (easy to use tabs, custom color scheme, ability to quickly post a new message). Plus, with over 100 clients, requiring a thumbnail for each project instead of a text link with sub categories for their different businesses, isnt as convenient. The newer version is more text based and is missing the overview page showing everything across-the-board quickly for the latest changes in each project. Perhaps they could have an option in the new version for the color scheme and text based listings
This is a fabulous app, havent ran across anything like it. It could be tailored to organize to-do lists/ categories a little better, as well as allow for notifications other than email (for the rest of those go-getters.) However, this app is terrific for those realizing the point of not letting things slip through the cracks

Some bad moments

Basecamp Is great but the app is too complex, too many clicks, we do not see well enough whats in each project!
Ive found many crashs. Whenever I try to change the positions of to-dos, the app crashes
This comes about 2 years too late. Sorry guys...so successfull and then no usablility. I would switch to someone else if I would not have all my files on your server!
Its ok as an App but its missing a lot of features. Even the mobile website offers more. So this is a little disappointing. And the App is not offline enabled. That would be an additional value comparing to the mobile website, but no, sorry.
I used only messages, and I already have some points which need to be improved. 1. Feature I wish the app had push notifications. So that I would receive a push notification, when somebody posts a message/comment. 2. Usability, bug And within the comments - it would me great that it would be refreshed easier than it is done now. Now you need to go to the menu one level up and than back into the message thread to get it re-loaded. It should be easier - e.g. Using a new button which refreshes the screen. Or by pulling up (not down - since there are previous messages which need to be scrolled through first In down pull solution). Go to the very tip and pulling down to refresh does not work - the apps tries to refresh the screen but nothing happens except the rotating thing at the tip which symbolizes that the refresh is in progress. For a long time. 3. Bug I cant go back very often (most of the time). The back button is there, but when you click it - the app stays on the same screen. 4. Usability It is really inconvenient that you need to scroll down to see the new unread message. If the thread is long - really inconvenient.
By all means, there is zero justification for not implementing Push-Notifications. Apart from that, the app is working fine!
