Basecamp 2 for iPhone App Reviews

We are continuing to try and use Basecamp to its fullest but for now, I love it. I do have some design suggestions that would help with the screen clutter. I am a computer CRM longtime user and can see this going further. Great job so far. I would love to help make it more user friendly. Great program!

The Basecamp app is a brilliant example of a tool that does what it needs to do, and then gets out of the way. Intentionally low on features, Basecamps toolset has been honed to a razor sharp edge.

I dont really understand all the good reviews of this app. This version is better than the last but still crashes on me all the time and is very laggy. Also it is supposed to show the app thumbnail as my company logo and that only happens about 1% of the time. With so many subscribers I would think Basecamp can make something superior to the current version. Also you cant see files or when new info is posted. I use it basically to reference info I know is already there but dont rely on this app for notifications or anything in real time.

I have loved the functionality of being able to take pictures in the field and add them to a team project from my phone. Its also really helpful for uploading files or taking notes on the fly.

Ive enjoyed using this as we have managed a 6-month home renovation project. It was great to have everything in one place!

Was invited to utilize Basecamp for work by a vendor. Hence, grabbed the app as well! Works perfectly and what a great way to stay up to date and focused on a project. No complaints here.... better than baseball and a camping trip.

Not sure what this app is missing but it would be great to have an instantaneous messenger function. Maybe the projects have something like that if youre sitting in front of your computer all day - Ill have to look at settings and what-not - Im using basecamp bc thats what my organization uses, but because this is a volunteer effort I am often not in the app or I keep up with the email recaps. And never open the app.

Excellent tool for linear communication.

As if smart phones werent enough to empower organizations to communicate, Basecamp just blew everything out of the water.

We use base camp for significant projects. It streamlines communication, key dates, and deliverables. We couldnt be happier with it.

Highly recommend this to help keep your task lists under control.
