Basecamp 2 for iPhone App Reviews

Many bugs and the app could be better in general.

Indispensable tool for any Basecamp-user. Got better with the latest version and now does allow access to most features of the web version.

Could be better but for essential needs it is a good tool. I miss some features, and a good iPad app.

Fast and lightweight. Super elegant and easy to use interface, just like the browser version. Has everything that you need when you dont have your desktop computer around! I love it.

I like the app, but there are still some bugs; i.e. pictures can not be viewed fullscreen;

Works very well for me. Very intuitive handling of the features. Actually prefer it over the mobile website UI, so I use the iPhone more often than the iPad (except for reviewing docs). Wish the app could be universal (or they would offer a special iPad app).

Basecamp structured our work, increased our productivity, and it is fun to work with this simple-to-use app. We do academic research, not business, and most of my colleagues do not even know about this app. A mistake.

While the application covers most of the ( web ) features the usability has room for improvement : – To open the menu one has to tap the top button — keeping the menu in a right ( sliding ) drawer would be more intuitive. See the single discussion thread handling, which has been nicely implemented. – To return to the main overview same applies as stated above respectively. – Offline mode is missing. It would be nice to be able to use the application even when not having an internet connection. Changes should be synchronised once the connection to the server can be re-established. Keep up the good work!

Its my only tool to take part in a bascamp group. it has a bug on my iphone, you can not go "back". that means that I always have to restart if I read a message and want to change the thread. you see I am good willed and give 4 stars... please fix this ;)

I used only messages, and I already have some points which need to be improved. 1. Feature I wish the app had push notifications. So that I would receive a push notification, when somebody posts a message/comment. 2. Usability, bug And within the comments - it would me great that it would be refreshed easier than it is done now. Now you need to go to the menu one level up and than back into the message thread to get it re-loaded. It should be easier - e.g. Using a new button which refreshes the screen. Or by pulling up (not down - since there are previous messages which need to be scrolled through first In down pull solution). Go to the very tip and pulling down to refresh does not work - the apps tries to refresh the screen but nothing happens except the rotating thing at the tip which symbolizes that the refresh is in progress. For a long time. 3. Bug I cant go back very often (most of the time). The back button is there, but when you click it - the app stays on the same screen. 4. Usability It is really inconvenient that you need to scroll down to see the new unread message. If the thread is long - really inconvenient.

Company got est. 4M. $/ month and you cant add new project.

Both professional and private I dont want to miss Basecamp anymore. The app is close to perfect and running smoothly. You can also switch between Basecamp Classic and Basecamp Projects. Well done, keep going, Chicago!

This app is almost identical to the web based application. Weve been using it with our team in China without any problems usually associated with the governmental blocking.

We are utilizing Basecamp to start up a new thrift store. It has been great for communication and organization.

By all means, there is zero justification for not implementing Push-Notifications. Apart from that, the app is working fine!

Great piece of technology that has made a huge difference in the organization of my business and projects. Recommend it for anyone who works with a team of other people (close or far) on ongoing projects

With this new version Wochenende are finally able to create new todo items and move items between lists!

Very simple to the point. Great to use to make sure you dont forget something.

Ive got an iPhone 5S running iOS 8. Editing texts is a pain. The cursor is not visible and selecting text fragments always selects the whole input! I dont get anything down. Very frustrating.
